Smart Sticks - Step One
Smart Sticks contain Smart Guard, a patented product that ensures that the sanitizer dissolves only while the pool's pump is operational. These convenient, 225 g "magnum"-style sticks are added just once a week to the pool's skimmer basket.

What it does:

1. Extra long-lasting chlorinating sanitizer because Smart Sticks dissolve slowly so they last about one week in an average pool. 
2. Bacteria are killed continuously when Smart Sticks maintain proper chlorinating levels. 
3. Smart Sticks are easy on pool surfaces, pumps, filter and other pool equipment.

Smart Shock - Step Two
BioGuard Smart Shock combines gentle, yet highly effective oxidizers with various clarifiers, therefore enabling you to rid your pool of the swimmer wastes that normally build up in pool water. It leaves pools sparkling and clear and you can swim again in just 15 minutes!

What it does:

1. Creates a high performance oxidation environment 
2. Smart Shock's multifunctional properties, in conjunction with blue smart crystals, make this the ideal oxidizer of choice. 
3. Allows you to swim just 15 minutes after applying. 
4. Better clarification through filter enhancers

Banish - Step 3

An excellent algae inhibitor! Strongest algae protection available. Effective against green, black and mustard algae

What it does:

1. Specially formulated to work with Smart Sticks and BioGuard Smart Shock to prevent algae before it starts. 
2. Prevents resistant strains of algae 
3. Non-foaming formula makes it perfect for all pool applications.

Balancers
BioGuard balancers are essential to an effective pool program. Maintenance will be easier and you can prevent routine pool care issues from growing into major problems. Bring in a 1-litre sample of pool water to your BioGuard Authorized Dealer for a complete analysis.

When your pool water is balanced, there is the proper ratio of mineral content and pH. Balanced water prevents pool water from being corrosive or scale-forming. In order to keep your water balanced, you may need to use one or more of the products in BioGuard's line of balancers. They include products that control scale, prevent metallic stains, adjust the pH and total alkalinity, and correct mineral imbalances.

Stabilizer 100

Pre-treat your pool with BioGuard Stabilizer 100 (if below ideal levels, check with your BioGuard dealer) to protect and reduce chlorine loss to sunlight. Use only in outdoor pools.

What it does:

1. Prevents chlorine loss due to sunlight.
2. Granular, totally soluble product.
3. Reduces maintenance cost and chlorine consumption.
4. More is not necessarily better; get your water tested to see if you need stabilizer.

Balance Pak 100Balance Pak 100
Proper alkalinity prevents pH bouncing due to rain, bather load, and other chemical application. This helps prevent pool staining, plaster etching on liner wrinkling.

What it does:

1. Helps to prevent premature aging of your pool surface.
2. Helps to prevent damage to your pools equipment like pumps and heaters. 
3. Dissolves quickly when added directly to pool water.
4. Have your water tested by your BioGuard Authorized Dealer determine your Total Alkalinity Level.

Balance Pak 200Balance Pak 200
Use to raise pH in pool water when it is below the ideal range. This helps prevent equipment corrosion, etching of plaster and wrinkling of liners caused by a low pH.

What it does:

1. Helps to prevent damage to your pool equipment, such as pumps and heaters.
2. Dissolves quickly when added directly to pool water.
3. Test your water with BioGuard Test Strips to determine your pH level.

Balance Pak 300Balance Pak 300
Balance Pak 300 boosts Calcium Hardness to help prevent equipment corrosion, etching of plaster and wrinkling of liners.

What it does:

1. Helps to prevent damage to your pool equipment, such as pumps and heaters.
2. Helps to balance Calcium Hardness.
3. Have your water tested by your BioGuard Authorized Dealer to determine your Calcium Hardness Level.

Lo 'n Slo
A high pH can cause scaling problems. Lo'N'Slo lowers pH and Total Alkalinity when they rise above the ideal range.

What it does:

1. Helps to prevent damage to pool equipment, such as pumps and heaters.
2. Dissolves quickly when added directly to pool water.
3. Test your water with BioGuard Test Strips to determine your pH level.

Pool Magnet
Avoid metal problems in your pool. Metals can cause problems like green hair and stains on your pool surface. Prevent stains with BioGuard Pool Magnet.

What it does:

1. Helps prevent stains caused when solubilized iron, copper and manganese change states.
2. May aid in removing fresh stains.

Scale InhibitorScale Inhibitor
Prevents the formation of calcium scale which may lead to serious damage to pool surfaces and equipment, such as heaters and filters.

What it does:

1. Helps to prevent damage to your pool equipment, such as pumps and heaters.
2. Liquid form for easy application.
3. Can be used on a maintenance basis for pools that tend to be scale forming.
4. Have your water tested by your BioGuard Authorized Dealer to determine if you require Scale Inhibitor.

CleanersCleaners
With all you've invested in your pool and equipment, you want everything to look great for as long as possible. That's why cleaning is one of the keys to brilliant water. Be sure to brush and vacuum the pool walls and floor to remove debris the filter misses. Brushing is a must even if you use an automatic pool cleaner or retain a weekly service.

Look to BioGuard cleaners to remove scale, hard water deposits, foam, remove stains and extend the life of pool covers and filters. Put cleaning on your routine maintenance list and you'll extend the life and appearance of your pool and equipment. Pick the BioGuard cleaner to help you do the job right.

Off The Wall
Sometimes stains occur along the water line because oil accumulates there, holding dissolved minerals in contact with the surface. This product is a heavy-duty, non-abrasive surface cleaner that removes scale and hard water deposits along the water line.

What it does:

1. Heavy-duty surface cleaner cleans pool surfaces without damaging them.
2. Helps remove grease and common dirt. 
3. Compatible with pool water chemistry. 
4. Non-abrasive and can be safely used on all pool types. 
5. Clings and penetrates the surface for better results. 
6. Easy-to-use product keeps pool surfaces clean and bright. 

Stow-Away
If you use a cover during the off-season months, you'll need to protect and store it once it's removed. This product is a cleaner/deodorizer that allows the pool cover to be stored wet and still remain protected.

What it does:

1. Cleans and deodorizes covers to prepare them for storage.
2. Eliminates objectionable odors on pool covers.
3. Prevents the cover from sticking together when folded, even when stored wet.
4. Aids in stain and soil removal. 
5. May be used on solar covers, pool umbrellas and other pool-side items. 
6. Extends the life of most covers.

Filter Brite
This product removes grease, scale, rust, and deposits from filters. It lengthens the life of the filter media to help keep water sparkling and clear.

What it does:

1. Promotes great filter efficiency.
2. Keeps water clearer.
3. Reduces maintenance costs. 
4. Can reduce chemical use.
5. Lengthens the life of the filter media.

Water Enhancers
Products in this category clear cloudy water and restore the sparkle to your pool water. Enhancers will also help your filter work more efficiently by acting as a coagulant to bind tiny particles together so they are easier for your filter to remove.

Cloudy water can occur from a variety of conditions, including poor filtration and circulation, algae growth, various outdoor debris, plaster dust and swimmer contaminants. Whatever the cause, BioGuard products can clear up your cloudy water fast.

Polysheen Blue
Polysheen Blue contains special polymers that allow it to gather more particles than other clarifiers and filter them out of the water. Restores sparkling water while using a minimal amount of product. Requires no pre-mixing. Does not affect the pool's pH. No vacuuming necessary.

What it does:

1. Restores water to sparkling blue. 
2. Does not require dilution.
3. Combines small particles into larger ones for easy removal by the filter. 
4. Highly concentrated so a little goes a long way.
5. Can be used in all pool and filter types. 
6. Does not effect pH.

PowerFlocPowerFloc
A polymeric pool settling agent to clear cloudy water. Works in all pools. No need to adjust pH. Works overnight. Debris must be gently vacuumed from pool bottom.

What it does:

1. Very powerful flocculent. 
2. Makes water clear and sparkling. 
3. Settles suspended particles to bottom for removal by vacuum. 
4. The greater the debris in the water, the faster it works. 
5. Can be used safely in all pool types.

Optimizer Plus
Optimizer Plus enhances water clarity and chemical effectiveness. More importantly, it substantially increases overall swimmer comfort by reducing skin and eye irritation. Using BioGuard Optimizer may help lower a pool's operating costs. This unique product works in chlorine OR bromine pools.

What it does:

1. For use in all pool types.
2. Will not evaporate and is not destroyed by ultra-violet rays of the sun.
3. Easy-to-use granular product.
4. Buffers water balance to prevent pH bounce.
5. Noticeably softens the water so it feels gentle on your skin.

Clarifying Tablets
BioGuard clarifying Tabs do an excellent job to add sparkle to your pool. Simply add a couple of Clarifying Tablets to your skimmer and let it do all the work. This product is for use in pools utilizing sand filters only!

What it does:

1. Simply add to your skimmer. 
2. Restores water sparkle, keeping pool water clear. 
3. Helps the filter remove tiny particles of dirt, plaster dust, dead algae, pollen, etc. 
4. For use with sand filters. 
5. Makes filter perform better.
